Understand this concept of playing when communicating with others to become a player…no, not that kind of player.

Talking to people can be hard. It’s a process. It takes time to learn.

The rules are different culture to culture, person to person, environment to environment.

How do you talk to somebody?

Is it really that hard?

Yes, it is.

See, I was that kid that didn’t really know how to play with the other kids. It wasn’t that I was ostracized in any way.

I never saw the point of it.

Why?

My parents didn’t really play with me.

So I did play but it felt like work. I had to pretend to play with my classmates.

The pretension caused me a life time of misery hidden in my backpocket.

See, playing is integral to talking.

And playing is a form of connection .

All under the guise of getting to know someone.

Talking is a form of play.

Exchanging information. Receiving and giving validation. Knowing.
