Loneliness, to be alone and feel that visceral snare of isolation, boredom, and depression hold you down, pinning you to the ground before putting you in a chokehold, all of this while no one is looking.

It’s brutal.

The problem seems to be everything revolving around you. At the same time, at the center of this circle that’s spinning and spinning, the eye of the storm is you who thinks you are the problem.

It’s common to feel lonely.

Disconnected from our feelings, disassociated from others, and desperate for solace, we sometimes feel like the world we are living in just isn’t right for us. Wrong body, wrong time, wrong place, wrong personality, etc.

I hate loneliness.

For so many reasons.

It’s like being self-conscious when nobody is there.

Sometimes, I feel lonely even when I’m around people.

Like what the fuck is going on in my head?

My mind gets foggy and my thoughts become depressing when I’m going through a lonely period of time, and it feels like a prolonged mini panic attack.

I generally write about where I went wrong, so others are alright.
