Maybe you are here because you hate mornings. Maybe you wish you were anywhere else with life, as long as it is not in the morning. Maybe most things that fuck you up in life happen to be in the morning. Maybe mornings just suck, and you are looking for solution.

Hi, my name is Bing and I struggle with mornings.

I know I’m not the only one.

I feel that mornings are indeed tough for most people including those who are morning people.

I never understood why mornings were such an invaluable time to pray, journal, exercise, connect with nature, and what not. Knowing other people who do that, seeing in action other people do that, you know, I am happy for them.

But sometimes I wish they didn’t exist, so that the rest of humanity can agree to make afternoons the new morning.

And make morning the new night.

I don’t know what it is about mornings that make it difficult.

I struggle with depression and anxiety, and my mind and body feel sort of drab and stunted in the morning. The rest of the brain power I have left in my cognitive function is trying to answer the question of who I am. My identity is one big question mark in the morning. Who am I when I wake up?

I feel that depersonalized.
