My Experience Coding a Website with AI
This will be a log of my experiences trying to come back into coding, and utilizing AI to help me get the job done.
My first assignment is coding a personal website. I haven’t coded in a year and a half, so getting back into it has me revisiting past experiences and bringing back memories of grinding out code quite diligently. It’s actually been quite difficult for me to come back, as someone who has been burnt out writing code.
I attended MIT, initially hoping to study economics. As I soon came to realize what economics entailed at MIT, I found myself switching over to Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The same thing happened again when I realized what Computer Science actually meant, and I wasn’t interested in Electrical Engineering.
So I finally switched over to Computer Science and Cognition which combines those two disciplines and is slightly different but fairly similar to the other major, Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making. Both fall within the same domain of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning but with approaches to different subareas of study.
One of the hardest things for me to do was to accept that maybe engineering at its very basics is not for me. It’s…
